Amish Bibles

Amish Bibles
If morality comes from the Bible, then why not all names are exactly the same moral?

People have similar cultures similar morals. Not exactly the same but similar. People from different cultures who read the Bible itself usually have very different morals. Please explain. Why Baptists do not have exactly the same moral as the Amish? Why do not Christians today have exactly the same as the original Puritan moral? I think that morality comes from our society, not the Bible. We put our morals in the Bible by the way he plays. God does not give us moral, we attribute to God our customs. The culture that determines their moral grew much more than his choice of religion does. So not that mean that morality is a natural part of human beings and not religion originate form?

I do not think morality comes from the Bible. The Bible gave us the 10 commandments, not to save as many people think or believe, but to be our teacher who shows us how weak and sinful human beings really are. Morality is one's own conduct in relation to the right and wrong rules such as the laws of the land and unwritten rules, such as personal space "that we all must never be violated. Moral behavior is dictated by society on what is acceptable and unacceptable in this day and age throughout history. Some things that were immoral 60 years ago today nudity is accepted as normal … you get the point. Imagine How many commandments would have been if morality were added. Morality is a product of the environment and which is a response to how well that individual actions are tolerated.

Amish Ordnung (Rules)….More about rules than the Bible.

Amish Births

Amish Births
Has anyone here ever used a birth stool Amish during labor?

You need not answer if your 'no':)

I did not know existed when I had my 6 home deliveries (last 17 years). But I had my husband designed and build something similar for my 2nd homebirth and used it several times. It really helped me. Squatting is definitely the natural way to go — stool provides support and a place to rest, especially between contractions. Please tell me — I will buy one of the births of my grandparents, children, if the moms want. (Births water are also good)
