Have Vermont picturesque tea houses and Shoppes Amish? If not where?

I am taking my mother on a vacation for his birthday. It seems to be convinced that Vermont will have quaint teahouses and Shoppes Amish, but I can not gather enough information to make sure that you will not regret. How about some knowledge of input or suggestions on where we go to tea houses, quaint shops and beautiful scenery. I live in southern California, but the pace is too fast for her .. want something slow and easy.

Try the Victoria Inn in Chester, Vermont. It has a tea shop adjacent. Also in Chester are the Fullerton Inn (great dinner) and MacLoughmans (spelling?) Scottish Pub Sorry, no Amish.
